Peter C. Lee
Dr. Peter Lee serves as Global Medical Director of Amazon. In this capacity, Peter is responsible for defining the overall medical and health strategy for the company. He functions as a key partner for domestic and international operating units and ensures the delivery of exceptional, high quality, and responsible investment in healthcare services. Peter also teaches as an Assistant Clinical Professor at the Yale University School of Medicine and practices clinically at the Boston Medical Center. Peter is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, University of Vermont College of Medicine and the Harvard School of Public Health. His post graduate training encompasses an internship in general surgery, fellowship in healthcare quality and residency at the Harvard Occupational and Environmental Medicine Residency program; where he also served as chief resident. Peter is board certified in Preventive Medicine and a fellow of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (ACOEM).
Prior to Amazon, Peter served as Chief Medical Officer for the General Electric Company as well as Chief Strategy Officer and Corporate Medical Director of a Boston-based healthcare delivery and consulting firm. He loves golfing, traveling and building Legos with his twins.
