Jazz Singh-Khaira leads the Worker and Community Development Program for VF Corporation, a global leader in branded lifestyle apparel, footwear, and accessories. The newly launched program works to improve the lives of workers in vulnerable communities in VF’s supply chain through three key work-streams: Water & Sanitation, Health & Nutrition and Childcare & Education. The program embodies the principle of doing well by doing good and aims to demonstrate the business value in investing in worker wellbeing while at the same time creating positive change to the lives of workers and the communities in which they live. Jazz joined VF in early 2017 to develop the program, formerly known a Sustainable Living Environments. She led the development of the strategy, setting ambitious targets to impact 117,000 people in the first year, reaching 1 million by 2025. VF partners exclusively with expert organizations to achieve these targets in high-need sourcing regions, including; Bangladesh, Cambodia, India, Kenya, Ethiopia, Lesotho and Dominican Republic, with a plan to expand to new geographies yearly.
