Allie Glinski is the Associate Director, Gender & Sustainable Supply Chains at ICRW Advisors. She has more than twelve years of advisory, research, and program experience focused on gender equity, women’s economic empowerment, gender & supply chain sustainability, social enterprise development, monitoring and evaluation (M&E), gender and clean energy, and gender-smart impact investing. She advises businesses, organizations, and social enterprises on how to integrate gender into their operations to enhance both social and business outcomes and develops measurement systems to track these social impacts. Specifically, she has explored how organizations and companies can adjust policies, organizational culture, and individual mindsets to create more gender-equitable workplaces and sustainable supply chains to produce material benefits and enhance worker wellbeing. She conducts research around the types of resources, support services, and key factors needed to create an enabling environment for female entrepreneurs to start and grow businesses and she examines how interventions can engage men to enhance gender equity and achieve program objectives. She is passionate about exploring and addressing power dynamics and root causes of inequities within society and applying sustainable business solutions; she seeks innovative approaches that improve company performance, economically empower women, and bolster community development.
